Occult History
Occult science reveals and explores the real history of this earth
The saying "history is bunk." attributed to Henry Ford is not quite correct. What he actually said was "History is more or less bunk." (Crawfordsville Review, June 6, 1916). He also said "history is myth." There is much truth in both these statements. Notwithstanding the great discoveries science has made in many fields during the last few centuries, it remains largely ignorant of the REAL history of this earth and knows nothing of the arts and sciences practised by the many advanced civilisations which preceded our own.
When scientists study ancient Egypt, they are confronted with an insurmountable paradox. On the one hand they learn (or are taught) that the ancient Egyptians produced artistic and architectural masterpieces unequalled in recorded history, yet at the same time they maintain that their creators were priest-bound necrophiles, obsessed with purely materialistic conceptions of a mythical afterlife, slavishly worshipping a grotesque pantheon of animal-headed gods; a people utterly devoid of any real science in the sense that modern scientists understand the word.
Occult science easily resolves this paradox because it knows that beyond a certain level, the knowledge which produced all the arts and sciences of ancient Egypt, was secret. The laws, principles and formulae—the life and breath of modern science—were never made public, and in many cases never written down at all. The reasons for this reticence form a considerable part of the teachings of the Mystery School described elsewhere on our website, which cannot be explained in a brief article like this.
What we can say is that the question of secrecy is completely misunderstood today. It is generally agreed among scientists that most ancient societies (and many modern primitive ones) reserved certain types of knowledge for the select few. At best this practice is considered absurd and undemocratic, at worst it is regarded as a form of intellectual tyranny, by which a class of priestly fraudsters kept the masses in a state of ignorant awe. But the ancient Egyptian mind was rather more sophisticated than ours. There were (and are) many good reasons for keeping certain types of knowledge secret, not least that in a world of hydrogen bombs, biological weapons, genetic modification, and the many other blessings of modern 'civilisation', it should be self-evident that some knowledge is dangerous, and that protecting innocent men, women and children from the worst abuses of such knowledge is sufficient motive for keeping it secret.
This is the main reason why the full facts of the scientific knowledge possessed by the great civilisations of the past cannot be found. It was never written down in plain words, but encoded in sacred monuments, symbols, allegories and myths, the keys to which were jealously guarded by the priest-scientists of those faraway times for the reasons just mentioned. There is plenty of evidence to be found in such texts as the Indian Puranas that the ancients possessed even more deadly means than hydrogen bombs to destroy human life, such as the 'Brahma Astra'—a terrible weapon capable of incinerating millions in one blast and rendering entire regions of the earth uninhabitable for centuries.
The students of the Mystery School mentioned above are gradually introduced to the occult laws and principles underlying the ancient Egyptian sciences of mathematics, geometry and astronomy. These sciences were all much more advanced and sophisticated than modern science realises. Indeed, the whole of Egyptian civilisation was based upon a complete and precise understanding of universal laws, which manifested itself in a consistent, coherent and interrelated system that combined science, art and religion into a single harmonious whole. This school also goes very much further into the real history of the earth and the many civilisations which existed in the past, leading to some astonishing conclusions that have remained concealed since the Great Pyramid of Egypt was sealed up more than 3,500 years ago.
All sorts of theories have been proposed to explain the construction of this stupendous edifice, ranging from the reasonable, through the implausible, to the utterly fantastic. The truth is simple and straightforward. The Great Pyramid was built by the sheer muscle and sweat of countless willing helpers using block and tackle, cranes and levers, all working together in perfect harmony under the direction of master-architects and engineers who possessed an exact knowledge of the scientific laws of balance and equilibrium far in advance of anything known today. Perhaps you had hoped for a more colourful explanation such as 'levitation', or the intervention of extraterrestrials? If so, we are heartily sorry to shatter your illusions, but it is just such wild and implausible fantasies that lead so many seekers away from Truth.
One example of how little science knows about the past is the strong probability that an Egyptian colony thrived in England over 3,500 years ago. Despite a wealth of archaeological, historical and linguistic evidence that the ancient Egyptians visited England and established a considerable mining industry in the county of Kent and other places, mainstream science has consistently derided and suppressed the proposition. The principal reasons for this are the difficulty in deciphering the records of which the key had been lost and the superstitious fancy that the Egyptians were not a seagoing people. A recent article published on the Internet draws on a wide variety of sources to investigate this fascinating proposition.
The afterword to this article examines the legend of St Mildred recorded in the Acta Sanctorum and reveals that it is an accurate allegorical description of ancient metallurgy in Kent during the Bronze Age, proving in the process that many of the place names in Kent are of Egyptian origin.
